About the “Proteca” Brand Product Warranty
"Proteca" provides a 10-year warranty for suitcases (hardshell and softshell) , purchased from authorized dealers (excluding "outlet stores") and offers high-quality after-sales service. After purchase, premium care (3-year complete warranty with free repairs) service is applicable for 3 years. After the warranty period of premium care (3 years) has expired, we provide a warranty service for an additional 7 years (total of 10 years, including premium care).

10-year warranty

If any defects in materials or manufacturing are found during the warranty period, we will repair them free of charge. If repair parts are not available, we may use alternative parts for repair. However, please note that there may be cases where repairs are impossible due to the structure of the product. In such cases, we may offer a replacement or provide an equivalent item.

Note that the warranty does not cover damage from handling by an airline company or during transportation by other means, damage caused by incorrect use, surface damage (wear, scratches, discoloration, etc., of casters, fasteners, handles and other parts) resulting from normal use, or damage due to repair or modification performed by a party other than authorized ACE repair centers. Furthermore, please note that damages or losses to the contents, as well as expenses associated with unusability or consequential losses, are also not covered. Additionally, products purchased from outlet stores are not eligible for warranty coverage.

ACE Co., Ltd. also offers a repair service for products after their warranty period. For repairs after the warranty period, please consult with the authorized dealer where the product was purchased or our customer center. We will notify you of the estimated repair cost, if necessary, and repair the product upon obtaining your consent.

To receive the warranty service, you must present proof of purchase from an authorized dealer. Please keep a purchase document, such as the receipt, in a safe place. If the product was purchased from an outlet or store other than an authorized dealer or if the proof of purchase is not presented, there will be a fee for the repair. Please note that there may be restrictions and exceptions applicable depending on your residential area.

Additionally, please be advised that any malfunctions occurring due to customer handling after use will be repaired at cost. Please note that the following cases will incur repair charges:
・Normal wear and tear, fading, deterioration due to exposure to heat, solvents, acids, water, etc.
・Damages or malfunctions during transportation, such as those incurred during air travel.
・Damage or wear and tear on the body, handle, caster parts due to aging, such as hydrolysis.
・Incidents caused by deliberate or gross negligence, or misuse by the customer.
・Occurrences due to war, riots, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, or water disasters (typhoons, floods, tsunamis, etc.).
・Damages resulting from repairs, modifications, etc., conducted outside of our authorized repair centers. Furthermore, we do not cover damages or losses to items inside the bag, nor do we cover consequential losses.

Proteca Premium Care

To ensure many years of trouble-free use of your Proteca product, ACE Co., Ltd. provides a free repair service for a period of three years from the date of purchase.
The warranty also covers damages caused during transportation by an airline or others.
ACE provides a free repair service for an unlimited number of times during the 3-year warranty period.

About the “ace.” Brand Product Warranty
"ace." provides a 10-year warranty for suitcases (hardshell and softshell) and a 5-year warranty for bags, purchased from authorized dealers (excluding "outlet stores") and offers high-quality after-sales service. If any defects in materials or manufacturing are found during the warranty period, we will repair them free of charge. If repair parts are not available, we may use alternative parts for repair. However, please note that there may be cases where repairs are impossible due to the structure of the product. In such cases, we may offer a replacement or provide an equivalent item.
